Trinity Church is moving to a new location as we step into a new season of ministry and opportunity.
Our Final Service at the church building will be May 31st at 10am.
In God’s providence, we are relocating to Swift School, just 0.2 miles away from our current site. While we continue to trust God for a long-term permanent building, we believe this move is a timely next step in His plan for our church.
New Location Details
Starting June 7th at 10am, we will now be meeting at:
Swift School
5900 N Winthrop Ave, Chicago, IL 60660
(near Thorndale Red Line Station)
Please note: we will be using the north entrance near the playground and parking lot.
Advantages For This Move
This new location provides several important opportunities for our church community:
- Improved accessibility
- On-site parking availability
- Room for kids ministry expansion
- Better auditorium seating and capacity
- Stronger connection to the local community
- Greater opportunity to serve and impact the city
Important Transition Dates
- Last service at current location: Sunday, May 31 at 10am
- Move-in / Setup volunteers: May 31, 12:30–5:30pm
- Text MOVE to 773-789-7071 to help
- Yard Sale / Building clean-out: Saturday, June 6 (9am–2pm)
- Edgewater neighborhood yard sale participation
- Items will be sold (not collected as donations)
- First service at Swift School: Sunday, June 7 at 10am
What to Expect at Swift (First Weeks)
As we transition, here are a few temporary adjustments:
- A “school feel” environment as we settle in
- Simplified Sunday experience
- No coffee for the first few weeks
- No livestream initially
- Limited signage for the first month
- Kids ministry pause until around June 21 (expected return)
Despite these adjustments, we will continue gathering to worship, grow spiritually, and build community together.
Parking & Facility Guidelines
To build a strong long-term partnership with the school, please observe the following:
- No food allowed in the auditorium
- Use the correct parking lot entrance (not the first gate—this is the exit)
- Park in straight rows only (ignore diagonal markings) to maximize space
- Keep the gate to the playground/entrance area clear at all times for strollers and wheelchairs
- Additional street parking is encouraged when possible
- Volunteers may use limited “secret spots” behind the building when arriving early
Serving & Support Needed
This season will require increased setup and teardown each week. We invite everyone to take part:

- If you are already serving, we ask for flexibility and extra support as needed during the transition
