One of the best ways to go deeper in our walk with God is by joining a Small Group. In addition to a Bible study, a Small Group is a gathering of people sharing their lives with one another.
Here are some benefits when you join a Small Group:
- Small Groups give us people who lead us to God.
Real relationships are the people who help us walk with God. They encourage us when we are down, but they also challenge us when we step out of line. [Proverbs 2:5-6].
- We learn from other people’s testimonies.
In life, stories inspire us. Sharing our lives is sharing our story. A testimony is a story in which God is involved from start to finish. It narrates what God has done and how he has changed someone’s life.
- Groups increase our confidence.
Joining a Small Group helps increase our confidence in God. Since He is not concretely visible to our eyes, God will use people around us to grow our trust in Him.
Life is a piece of cake to be shared. To celebrate and satiate. In life we are a piece of God’s blessing…to bless others.
