On January 31, 2024, our community was shaken by the tragic loss of Daveon Gibson, a Senn High School student who was shot and killed outside our building. 

As we approach the first year anniversary of this devastating event, we are inviting the local community to join us for a moment of remembrance and reflection.

This gathering is not only a time to remember Daveon but also an opportunity to come together as a local community with hope for a safer Chicago.
