Join us for an evening of art with a purpose! Young women and girls between the ages of 12 and 21, who are survivors of human trafficking and receiving care at Anne’s House, founded by the Salvation Army PROMISE Program, have created something “BRILLIANT.”
Members of Buy Art Not People, a not for profit started within Destination to combat modern slavery through art, along with other associated artists have worked along side the young women at Anne’s House exploring expression through the visual arts. Through art, healing and transformation are taking place.
Opening Reception: Friday, October 19th 6-9 pm
Location: Geraldine Rodriguez Photography Studio, Zhou B Art Center Studio 401 (1029 W 35th Street, Chicago, IL)
(in conjunction with the Bridgeport Art Walk and 3rd Fridays.)
This exhibition, located in a unique Chicago photography studio, will donate ALL proceeds from art sales to Anne’s House. We invite you to be moved, inspired and transformed.
