Join Destination this Sunday June 22 at 10:30am for our first-ever service on the beach. Experience acoustic worship, a special message, communion, baptisms, and games!

BRING:
Appropriate beach wear
Towels, beach chairs, etc…
Sunscreen
Picnic (food/water will not be provided)
Your game face

LOCATION: Foster Beach. Location on Google Maps.

TRAVEL: If you’re driving, exit Lake Shore Drive at Foster Ave. Head east. There’s a paid lot by the Foster Beach House (the beach entrance). If you’re taking CTA, the Berwyn Red Line is nearby.

INSTRUCTIONS: Pleeeease be early. As you arrive at the beach house, look for the Destination signs. We’re gathering on the south end of the beach. There will be a blue pop-up tent on the sand close to the water. Find a spot to set yourself up in front of it (do not use it for shade), and be sure to pack-in close so everyone can hear and enjoy the experience. Instructions for the games will be given at the end of the service.

PARENTS: Please be aware that there are no centrally organized activities for your children. They will be in your care for the entire service. Activity packets will be available for children to enjoy.

BAD WEATHER CONTINGENCY: If it’s raining prior to the service, we’ll need to call it off unfortunately. There’s no alternative plan, so the service will be canceled. Go ahead right now and text DSTCC BEACH to 313131 if you would like an event cancelation alert.
