Prison Ministry Christmas Present Drive

Prison Ministry (1)

This Christmas season, Trinity Church is joining our partner organization, Chicagoland Prison Outreach (CPO), in their Angels of Hope program. Through the Angels of Hope program, CPO reaches out to families of inmates at Cook County Jail and Bootcamp. The program is designed to help these families when they may not be able to provide for themselves due to having a loved one in jail or prison. Having a loved one incarcerated is a trying test to their faith and a difficult time in their lives, and Angels of Hope provides meals, gifts, and hope to families during the holiday seasons.

This Christmas season, Trinity has been paired with 4 families containing 11 children total in our surrounding neighborhoods. On Sundays from November 3 to December 1, there will be a table set up in the church lobby with sign-ups for specific gift requests. You can commit to a specific gift, buy the gift ($10 minimum), and bring it back to church by December 1. The gifts will then be delivered to the families in early December. Sign-ups will be available before and after both services, so make sure to stop by to claim a gift and join in on this exciting new opportunity!

If you have any questions or would like to serve at the sign-up table, please email justice@tri.church.
